“If it can be dreamed, it can be done”

                                                                                    -Walt Disney

A simple thought, right.

But do we allow ourselves to dream, I mean dream really BIG.

Or are you making excuses as to why you can’t make that dream come true.

I know how all those practical reasons come into play, all of the external responsibilities.

We need to take time to open our minds and let those dreams percolate.

It’s what inspires  and motivates us. It pushes us forward.

What are you dreaming of?

One persistent dream I have is living in a small house on a tropical island for a year…not like a tourist, but like one of the locals…riding my bike to the market for fresh produce, living in sundresses, painting on my easel on the porch, (always barefoot!). You can tell I’ve thought a lot about this! I don’t even know if a place exists where I could live in such a way but it sounds pretty romantic to me!

I keep dreaming that I will be an author one day. Today I start a regular writing practice since authors write a lot I know that I need to do it more often to develop the skills I need. So this month’s challenge for is to write 50,000 words in 30 days. It’s a start and I hope to be able to achieve this goal.

  3. Sue,
First time visit. You are an excellent artist and I don’t care what anyone says, watercolor takes talent!! You’ve got it. Love your stuff on your Etsy site also!
