“Apologize for mistakes. Apologize for unintentionally hurting someone — profusely. But don’t apologize for being who you are.” Danielle La Porte
I am taking the thought for today from a post written by Danielle La Porte. Check out her blog here.
This short post resonated with me. It made me step back and think of the way too many times that I apologized whether out loud or to myself even, for who I was.
“I’m sorry I’m a perfectionist and I expect things to be done right”, “I’m sorry that I’m so sensitive that I cry at the drop of a hat”
Why should I apologize?
I am who I am! Get over it!
Are you apologizing for who you are?
Read this post and stop!
